Recognising the urgent need for future skills in the demanding Aerospace and F1 engineering markets, Impcross are offering Apprenticeships commencing in September 2006 and hope to be able to offer placement and training to FIVE apprentices. This will represent the first phase in an annual recruitment programme.
 
Competition for the five positions is expected to be keen to gain the unequalled opportunity to work in a progressive and expanding company.
 
The Apprentice and Advanced Apprentice schemes will be run in conjunction with Gloscat utilising their facilities at their Engineering and Technology Centre.
 
Completion of the apprenticeships will give qualifications in various areas with awards in Key Skills, NVQ, City and Guilds and BTEC.
 
Opportunities exist after basic training in many work areas including:
• Assembly   • Toolroom/Manual Machining   • CNC Machining: Turning and Milling
• CNC Grinding   • Production Office   • Engineering/Programming
